Somers Speed Enforcement, 59 Tickets Issued

SOMERS, N.Y. - The New York State Police conducted a Speed Enforcement Initiative along Route 35 in Somers and Lewisboro on Saturday between 7 a.m. and 1 p.m.

Reportedly, a? total of 59 tickets were issued. The majority were for speeding.

??A?c?c?o?r?d?i?n?g? ?t?o? ?p?o?l?i?c?e?,? ?t?he purpose of the Speed Enforcement Initiative is to reduce deaths, injuries and property damage caused by motor vehicle accidents.
