Somers Town Board Incumbents Cruise To Re-Election

SOMERS, N.Y. -- Somers Supervisor Rick Morrissey, along with Councilmen Richard Clinchy and Thomas Garrity, easily won re-election to their seats, according to unofficial results from the Westchester County Board of Elections.

The trio ran unopposed. The unofficial results show that Morrissey received 1,309 votes Clinchy with 1,525 and Garrity with 1,587.

Meanwhile, Patricia Kalba easily won election to be Somers' next Town Clerk. Unofficial results show that Kalba, who is currently the deputy town clerk and ran unopposed, received 1,655 votes. Kalba will succeed Kathleen Pacella to the office. 

Incumbent Town Justices Denis Timone and Michael McDermott were re-elected after running unopposed. The unofficial results show that Timone received 1,306 votes while McDermott got 1,285.

Incumbent Highway Superintendent Thomas Chiaverini, who also ran unopposed, was easily re-elected. Unofficial results show that Chiaverini got 1,630 votes.
