Sara D. Schmitt is described as being 5-foot-4, 120 pounds with brown hair and blue eyes.
Schmitt was last seen around 9 a.m. Monday walking west bound on State Route 31 in the Town of Sullivan in Madison County, state police said. Family members believe she was walking to a drugstore on to pay a bill, but she never returned.
She was wearing blue jeans, a black Columbia zip-up jacket and black Reebok sneakers.
