SOMERS, N.Y. - As a result of an automobile accident at about 1:45 a.m. on Wednesday, October 12, Somers State Police arrested Beth A. Robins, 49, of Somers. Robins was involved in a property damage accident near the intersection of Routes 100 and 139. Subsequent investigation revealed that Robins was intoxicated, with a blood alcohol content of .22%, more than double the legal limit. She was ordered to appear in Somers Town Court on October 17.
In a similar incident, Edras Duarte, 23, of Mt. Kisco, was arrested by Somers State Police about 3:30 a.m. the same night. Duarte was involved in a personal injury auto accident on Primrose Street in Somers. He was found to be intoxicated and is also summoned to appear in Somers Town Court on October 17.
