Two Somers Residents Arrested in Separate Crimes

SOMERS, N.Y. - Christopher D. Finney, 20, of Lincolndale, was arrested and charged by New York State Police on Tuesday during a burglary investigation in Somers. Finney was found to be in possession of heroin and marijuana and was charged with burglary, criminal possession of a controlled substance, and marijuana possession. He was arraigned in Somers Town Court and remanded to Westchester County Jail. He is scheduled to appear in Somers Town Court on February 15 at 5:30 p.m.

A student at the Lincoln Hall School for Boys was arrested and charged by the state police on Tuesday and charged with robbery. Dequan Thomas, 16, was alleged to have forcibly stolen a cell phone from a teacher at the school, causing minor injuries to the teacher. Thomas was arraigned in Somers Town Court, remanded to Westchester County Jail, and scheduled to reappear in court on February 15 at 5:30 p.m.
