Firefighters had to free the woman who was trapped in her SUV after the 3 p.m. accident on Route 139 near the Angle Fly Preserve. Live wires fell on her car, making the situation dangerous until power was shut off, lohud.com reported.

She was taken with minor injuries to Westchester Medical Center, and crews worked for hours to replace the pole and wires. Route 139 between Plumbrook and Van Renssalaer roads was closed until about 10:40 p.m., lohud.com said.
