Ann Paulsen, 86, Of Somers, Retired Verizon Employee

SOMERS, N.Y. - Ann Paulsen of Somers died Aug. 21. She was 86.

Paulsen was born and raised in New York City. She worked first at New York Telephone, and later at Verizon until she retired.

Paulsen is survived by her children, Brad, Joann (Michael Rooney), Nancy (David Friend) and Amy (Albert Nalle); eight grandchildren; and a great-grandson. She was predeceased by her  husband, Joseph Paulsen.

Calling hours are Sunday, Aug. 24 from 5 to 8 p.m. at Clark Associates Funeral Home in Katonah. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday, Aug. 25 at St. Joseph Church, 95 Plum Brook Road, Somers.
