SOMERS, N.Y. - Dominick A. Ferrara of Somers, formerly of Glendale, died Wednesday, April 10. He was 70.
Ferrara was born May 13, 1942, in Brooklyn to Fred and Mary (Cavello) Ferrara.
Ferrara was a U.S. Army veteran serving during the Cold War era. He attended New York Institute of Technology, where he received a Bachelor of Science. He was a sergeant with the TBTA in NYC for many years, retiring in 1999.
Ferrara is survived by his son, John (Mary) of Carmel; two grandchildren; 14 brothers and sisters; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents; wife, Janet Ferrara; and two siblings.
Calling hours are Saturday, April 13 and Sunday, April 14 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. at Clark Associates Funeral Home , Katonah. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, April 15 at St. Joseph's R.C Church, 10 Croton Falls Road, Croton Falls. Burial will follow at St. Joseph's Cemetery, Somers.
