SOMERS, N.Y. - Eleanor H. Driscoll of Somers died Saturday, June 8. She was 88
Driscoll was born June 1, 1925, in Mount Kisco, daughter of Peter and Katherine Harkins. She lived in Bronxville, Smithtown, L.I. and Heritage Hills, Somers. She graduated from the Academy of Mount Saint Ursula High School and Good Counsel College.
Driscoll spent her entire career at New York Telephone and Verizon as a Rep-Business office supervisor and was one of the first women sales reps. She was past president of the Heritage Hills East Hill Golf Club. Her spare time was spent working with Twigs, raising money for Northern Westchester Hospital. She served on the Executive Board of Twigs for about 10 years. She also volunteered in the Heritage Hills Library for many years.
Eleanor is survived by her husband, Edmond J. Driscoll.
Calling hours are Tuesday, June 11, 2013 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Clark Associates Funeral Home , Katonah. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday, June 12 at St. Joseph's RC Church, 10 Croton Falls Road, Croton Falls. Interment will follow at St. Joseph's Cemetery, Somers.
