SOMERS, N.Y. - Gerald Rosenstrach of Somers died Dec. 4. He was 86.
Rosenstrach was born July 16, 1928, to Sam and Leah Rosenstrach, in the Bronx. He graduated from Fordham University School of Pharmacy in 1953. He worked as a pharmacist from 1953 to 1973 and taught in the Bronx at PS 39 and IS 152 in the Bronx, retiring in 1991.
Rosenstrach is survived by his wife, Edith; children, Jeffrey (Susan) and Paul (Lauren Puglia); and two grandchildren.
A funeral service will take place at 10 a.m. Sunday, Dec. 7 at Yorktown Funeral Home. Interment to follow at King David Cemetery.
Donations may be made in Rosenstrach's memory to the Jewish National Fund or the American Heart Association.
