CROTON-ON-HUDSON, N.Y. -- Jacqueline Valerie Tryon Bleakley, of Croton-on-Hudson, passed away Friday, May 27, 2016 at the age of 80.
She was born June 3, 1935, to Howard "Turk" and Mary Jane "Jenny" Bleakley in Peekskill.
She was a devoted parishioner at Church of the Devine Love and a member of the Knights of Columbus.
She is survived by her grandchildren Kenneth, Heather, Melissa and Nicholas Bleakley; brothers Bernard, Howard and Rudy (June) Bleakley; sister Denise Dini (Gary); and many nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband Lawrence Tryon; son Frank Bleakley; daughter Michelle; and sister Sharon Bleakley.
A funeral service will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Church of the Devine Love in Montrose. Burial will follow at Sunset Cemetery in Montrose.
