SOMERS, N.Y. - Lawrence Elliot Kugel of Somers died May 2. He was 71.
Kugel was born Dec. 11, 1941, to Paul and Beatrice (Lebovitz) in Tarrytown. He was a research scientist for IBM in Yorktown Heights.
Kugel is survived by his wife, Lydia; children, Karin Kugel-Rosenthal, Douglas Kugel, Gary Kugel; sister, Janice Liberman; and one grandchild. He was predeceased by his daughters, Stephanie Lisa Kugel and Sherri Ann Kugel.
A service will be held Friday, May 3 at 12 p.m. at Cargain Funeral Homes, Inc., 418 Route Six, Mahopac, NY 10541 (845)628-5655. Interment will follow at Knollwood Park Cemetery, Ridgewood (Queens).
