HASTINGS-ON-HUDSON, N.Y. – Mary Boye, a longtime Hastings and Somers resident, died Oct. 5. She was 100.
She married Charles Boye on Nov. 24, 1938 at St. Peter's Church in Yonkers. After the death of her husband in 1989, Boye moved in with her daughter in Somers. She later lived at Somers Manor Nursing Home. Boye was a longtime parishioner of St. Matthew's Church in Hastings-on-Hudson.
She is survived by a daughter, Joan (Gene) Scomillio, three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
A funeral Mass was celebrated Tuesday at St. Matthew's Church. Edwards-Dowdle Funeral Home in Dobbs Ferry handled arrangements.
