SOMERS, N.Y. - Noel Fitzpatrick of Somers died Sept. 22. He was 79.
Fitzpatrick was born Dec. 4, 1934, in Ireland, to Jack and Dympna Fitzpatrick. After marriage he moved with his family to Somers in 1969. He served in the U.S. Army and retired from ADT after 38 years. After retiring, he worked at the Mahopac Golf Club and was an usher at St. Joseph's Church. He was a member of the Cavan Association.
Fitzpatrick is survived by his wife, Kathleen; children, John of Port Chester, Philip of Saratoga, Maureen (Edward) Mullaney of Poughquag, Brendan (Jessica) of Carmel; five grandchildren; brother, Gabriel of Ireland; sisters, Angela of Somers, Jean Ann and Marion of England, Helen of Ireland; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents; and sister, Dympna.
Calling hours are Wednesday, Sept. 24 from 4 to 8 p.m. at Joseph J. Smith Funeral Home, Mahopac (845-621-1992). The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 25 at St. Joseph's Church in Somers.
