According to a New York State Police report, Paul Hines, 73, of Danbury, was accused of communicating with a 15-year-old in Somers, N.Y., via the Internet and meeting with the child at the minor's residence and engaging in sexual contact.

The police investigated the incident in conjunction with the Westchester County District Attorney's Office.

Hines was charged with third-degree criminal sexual act and endangering the welfare of a child, police said. He was arraigned in Somers and held at the Westchester County Jail with no bail.
