Katonah Man, 21, Charged With Burglarizing His Own Neighbor

SOMERS, N.Y. -- A Katonah man has been charged with second-degree burglary in connection with an incident on Elide Road in Katonah.

Colin J. Tullgren, 21, was turned over to New York State Police in Somers after a neighbor confronted Tullgren regarding the disappearance of jewelry and valuable coins, according to state police. 

"Tullgren confessed to unlawfully entering the neighbor's residence and removing the items," state police said.

Tullgren was charged with second-degree burglary, a felony, and was arraigned in the Town of Somers Court. Tullgren was remanded to the Westchester County Jail in lieu of $5,000 cash bail and is scheduled to reappear in the Town of Somers Court on Jan. 6, 2014.
