KATONAH, N.Y. -- New York State Police from the Somers barracks charged a Katonah man with forging checks on Tuesday, according to officials.
State Police were contacted in September by the victim who claimed several checks were cashed against her bank account without her permission, police said.
Investigation revealed that Colin J. Tullgren, 22, had allegedly forged and cashed several checks, totalling $790 from the victim's account, police said.
Tullgren was charged with second-degree criminal possession of a false instrument and is scheduled to appear in Somers Court on Feb. 23, police said.
