Lewisboro Woman Charged With DWI In North Salem

LEWISBORO, N.Y. -- New York State Police arrested a Lewisboro woman and charged her with driving while intoxicated after she allegedly struck a guard rail in North Salem on Friday, Dec. 27, according to police officials.

Kathleen Evarts allegedly hit a guard rail on June Road then drove into an earth embankment. Upon investigating the accident, troopers determined that Evarts was driving while intoxicated, according to State Police.

Evarts is scheduled to appear in North Salem Town Court on Monday, Jan. 6, State Police said.
