A local business owner reported to North Castle Police Headquarters on Wednesday afternoon to report that one license plate is missing from each of his five company vehicles.
Police said that it is unknown when the plates became missing due to the fact that three of the vehicles have been plowing and working at different job sites. Two of the five missing plates belong to trailers that have been sitting on company property for a long stretch of time, and it is unknown when they went missing.
When the business owner attempted to exchange the plates at the DMV, he was alerted that he should file a police report. The investigation into the missing license plates is ongoing.
