Mahopac Woman Faces DWI Charges in Somers

SOMERS, N.Y. – State police arrested a Mahopac woman early Sunday morning and charged her with driving while intoxicated.

Police say that at approximately 3:40 a.m. troopers spotted a car going 50 mph in a 35 mph zone on Route 139. According to police, the investigation revealed that the driver, Christina L. Capriola, 22, had a blood alcohol content of .10 percent, at which point she was placed under arrest and charged with DWI.

She was due back in the Town of Somers court on Monday.
