Man Causes 'Bruising, Pain' In Domestic Incident, Yorktown Police Say

YORKTOWN, N.Y. -- A Yorktown Heights man was charged with causing bruising and pain to a woman during a domestic incident Friday.

Brandon Durham, 46, was arrested and charged with assault in the third degree, a Class A Misdemeanor.

Police received a walk-in complaint of a domestic incident. After an investigation, police determined Durham assaulted the victim, causing a cut, bruising and pain to the victims right shoulder as well as pain and bruising to her knee.

He was released on his own recognizance and is due back in court on Oct. 5.
