Man Is Charged With Shooting Arrows At Mohegan Lake Adult Home Employee

CORTLANDT MANOR, N.Y. -- Mark A. Riley, a 55-year-old Mohegan Lake resident, has been charged with attempted assault in the first degree and one count of criminal possession of a weapon in the third degree on Wednesday, according to New York state police at Cortlandt.

Police said Riley intentionally shot a series of crossbow arrows at an employee of Mohegan Park Home for Adults on Lexington Avenue in the Mohegan Lake section of the town of Cortlandt. 

Riley was taken into custody by responding State Police units without further incident and charged. He was arraigned int he town of Cortlandt Court and remanded to the Westchester County Jail in lieu of $50,000 bond. If convicted, Riley faces up to 15 years in state prison.
