YORKTOWN HEIGHTS, N.Y. -- Yorktown police have arrested a 26-year-old resident of Brookfield, Conn., on a bench warrant issued by the Yorktown Justice Court for failure to pay a fine in connection with a charge of unlicensed driving and speeding, both infractions.

The defendant was processed and appeared in the Yorktown Justice Court, police said.
He was remanded to the Westchester County Department of Corrections on $2,500 cash bail or $5,000 bond to appear in Yorktown Justice Court on Dec. 17 at 6 p.m., according to police.
