Anthony Grecco, a marijuana dealer according to the U.S. Attorney's office, was convicted of the Aug. 2014 robbery and murder of Ryan Ennis that occurred on Wolden Road. He faces a maximum of life in prison.

Ennis met with Grecco under the pretense of getting marijuana, though Grecco intended to rob him and kill him if necessary, according to the US Attorney's Office. Grecco, of Manville, N.J., was strapped for cash and wanted to invest in the heroin business, according to the US Attorney's Office.

Grecco stabbed him and slashed his throat, killing him and took $8,900, a cellphone and a hat, according to the US Attorney's Office.

“Anthony Grecco took a human life, violently murdering Ryan Ennis, for a few thousand dollars," Preet Bharara, U.S. Attorney for the Southern District. "Today, a unanimous jury reached a swift verdict, holding Grecco accountable for his callous crime. I want to thank our local and federal law enforcement partners for making this conviction possible.”
