Police: Credit Cards, Designer Handbag, Cash Stolen From Bedford Vehicles

BEDFORD, N.Y. - Police in Bedford are investigating a series of auto vehicle larcenies that saw a burglar make off with luxury items and cash from parked cars overnight.

Last weekend, police said that a number of items were reported stolen from unlocked vehicles parked on Bishop Road, Pinebrook Road and miller town Road in Bedford, as well as on Mount Holly Road in Katonah.

Police said that among the items stolen were credit cards, a designer handbag, sunglasses and more than $300 in cash. Following the break-ins, the Bedford Police Department has cautioned homeowners to lock up their cars overnight.
