Julie Goodchild was stopped at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 22, after officers tracked her down at the intersection of Crompond Road and Hawthorne Drive, where she was spotted driving from lane to lane. Once stopped, officers discovered that Goodchild was intoxicated and placed her under arrest, police said.
A blood alcohol content test showed that she was driving at twice the legal limit with a BAC of 0.18 percent. Goodchild was charged with driving while intoxicated and aggravated driving while intoxicated, police said.
She was processed at the Yorktown Police Headquarters and released on her own recognizance to a responsible party. Goodchild is scheduled to appear in court on Oct. 4.
