The suspect is Milton Ventura, a 35-year-old Mount Kisco resident, has been charged with first-degree manslaughter and was taken into custody on Tuesday by county police detectives, the announcement adds.

Ventura is accused of causing the death of Sanchez, a 53-year-old homeless man originally from Honduras. Sanchez's body was located on Sunday in a wooded area off of Lieto Drive, county police previously noted.

George Longworth noted that the area has been used for people to socialize.

Ventura is the second person charged. The arrested and charging of another suspect, 34-year-old Freddy Coronado-Mendez, was announced at a Tuesday press conference by George Longworth, who is commissioner of the Westchester County Department of Public Safety.

Longworth, who was flanked by Westchester County Executive Rob Astorino and Mount Kisco Mayor Michael Cindrich, noted at the press conference that Sanchez and Coronado-Mendez knew each other from socializing the area by Lieto Drive.

County police allege that there was an altercation on Saturday between the two suspects and Sanchez, whose cause of death was ruled a homicide from a blunt-force trauma.

Coronado-Mendez was located and detained by authorities in Harrison, N.J., Longworth previously said, adding it is believe that he was trying to get out of this part of the country. An extradition of the suspect back to New York is being sought.

Coronado-Mendez, who is from Guatemala, has a criminal history that includes assault with a deadly weapon and burglary, according to Longworth, who also noted that he was deported twice.

Sanchez, who worked at times as a landscaper, had relatives in the area and one of them found his body, Longworth previously said.
