SOMERS, N.Y. A Somers landlord is facing a charge that he threatened a tenant with gun, New York State Police said Friday.
According to the police report, a 41-year-old woman who rents a home on Young Road, got into an argument Thursday with her landlord, Robert P. Kardian, of Hawthorne. Kardian arrived at her home about 1:30 p.m. and, in the course of a dispute, Kardian produced a .38-caliber handgun and threatened the woman and her son, police said.
State Police charged Kardian with two counts of 2nd degree menacing, a class A misdemeanor, and transported him to Somers Town Court.
Kardian was arraigned before Justice Dennis Timone and remanded to the Westchester County Jail in lieu of a $25,000 bail. He is scheduled to reappear at Somers Town Court on July 9.
