Somers Man Charged With Assault, Disorderly Conduct

SOMERS, N.Y. – A Somers man was charged with assault in the third degree, endangering the welfare of a child, resisting arrest and disorderly conduct, all misdemeanors, Saturday evening.

Jared Vergilis, 34, was charged by New York State Police after an investigation of a domestic incident outside his Somers residence.

Vergilis was arraigned at North Salem Town Court and released on his own recognizance. He is scheduled to appear at Somers Town Court on Wednesday, July 18, at 5:30 p.m.
