SOMERS, N.Y. – Jose A. Gomez, 55, of Somers was stopped by New York State Police at about 3 a.m. on Saturday for allegedly crossing hazardous pavement markings along Route 100 in Somers.

Gomez was found to be driving with a blood alcohol level of 0.17 percent and was issued a ticket for DWI. He is due to appear at Somers Town Court on Sept. 19 at 5:30 p.m.

SOMERS, N.Y. - Thomas Francis Wall, of Somers, former resident of New Hyde Park, died May 16. He was 83.

Wall was a sales executive in the graphic arts industry. He served in the U.S. Navy, a veteran of the Korean War.
