Somers Man Charged With DWI Following Hit-And-Run

SOMERS, N.Y. -- A 68-year-old Somers man was arrested on Dec. 17 and charged with driving while intoxicated after being involved in a hit-and-run, according to a report from Patch.

State police said the man, who was not identified, was involved in a hit-and-run accident on Bluegrass Circle in the town of Somers, according to the report. Police said the man had a blood alcohol content of 0.14 percent. He was arrested at around 8:35 p.m. Dec. 17 and charged with misdemeanor driving while intoxicated, according to the report.

The man is scheduled to appear on Jan. 6, 2014 in Somers Town Court.
