Somers Woman Hospitalized After Being Attacked By Housemate

SOMERS, N.Y. -- A Somers woman was hospitalized after a dispute with her housemate got violent on Sunday, according to state police.

State Police arrived on the scene and found the 38-year-old victim sustained a laceration to her neck caused by a broken shard of glass from a broken picture frame during the course of a physical altercation.

Mary L. McLarnon, 55, of Somers allegedly struck her roommate with a glass picture frame and was charged with second-degree assault, a Class D felony.

McLarnon was arraigned before the Town of Somers Court and remanded to the Westchester County Jail on $10,000 bail.
