PUTNAM COUNTY, N.Y. -- An 18-year-old woman was arrested by Kent Police after she was stopped for a traffic infraction and officers discovered she was in possession of amphetamines.
Lindsey Quezada, of Kent, was stopped around 10 p.m. Nov. 20, by Officer Dan Huestis on West Lakeshore Drive for a traffic infraction, said Kent Police Chief Alex DiVernieri.
During the stop, the officer discovered Quezada was in possession of amphetamines, he said.
She was charged with possession of a controlled substance and released on her own recognizance. She is scheduled to appear in court on Dec. 6.
