Woman Charged With DWI In Stop Near Somers Library

SOMERS, N.Y. – A woman was charged with a misdemeanor of driving while intoxicated when her vehicle was found to be stuck in a snow bank in the vicinity of the Somers Library on March 7, according to the Somers branch of the New York State Police.

Pawling resident Michelle Baron, 31, was charged with driving while intoxicated when her car was found in a snowbank near the Somers Library, according to the Somers branch of the New York State Police.

Michelle Baron, 31, of Pawling, was charged when her blood alcohol level was found to be .17, over two times the legal limit, after a Breathalyzer test.

Troopers responded to a report of a disabled vehicle near the library on Route 139, finding Baron and determining her to be intoxicated.

Baron was issued traffic tickets ordering her to appear before the Town Of Somers Court on March 23.
