Both former presidents took turns praising the good qualities that they saw in the other, while still acknowledging the differences in opinion that the two had, CNN said.

Bush also took the opportunity to offer some grandfatherly advice to Clinton, who is expecting his first grandchild this fall, according to CNN.

The two were gathered to announce a partnership to create the Presidential Leadership Scholars program along with the Lyndon B. Johnson center. The new program hopes to bring various leaders together to study presidential leadership and decision making, CNN reported.
