CHAPPAQUA, N.Y. -- Officials have asked the Justice department to open an investigation into Chappaqua resident Hillary Clinton in connection to the personal email account she used while serving as secretary of state, according to reports.
The request comes just weeks after two inspectors general claimed Clinton's emails contained potentially classified information, The New York Times reported.
It has not yet been determined if the information in question was deemed classified at the time Clinton was using the email address for state business. Clinton still contends there was no sensitive information sent or received from the account, The Times said.
