League Of Women Voters Hosts Mamaroneck Candidates Forum

MAMARONECK, N.Y. -- The League of Women Voters of Larchmont/Mamaroneck and Rye, Rye Brook and Port Chester jointly will host a candidates forum Wednesday.

The event will be at 7:30 p.m. at the Mamaroneck Town Center, 740 W. Boston Post Road. Invited candidates are County Legislator District 7 (Catherine Parker (D) and John Verni (R)), Mayor of Village of Mamaroneck (Clark Neuringer (D) and Norman Rosenblum (R,C,I)) and.Trustees in the Village of Mamaroneck (Louis N. Santoro (R,C,I) and Kerry Stein (D).

The League of Women Voters is a a nonpartisan political organization that encourages informed and active participation in government, works to increase understanding of major public policy issues and influences public policy through education and advocacy.
