North Salem Voters Approve School Budget, Bond Referendum

NORTH SALEM, N.Y. -- North Salem's 2015-16 school budget and a bond referendum for building renovations easily passed, results show.

The budget received 409 votes in favor versus 145 against. The bond referendum, meanwhile, received 379 votes in favor and 152 against.

Incumbent school board member Paul Giamundo and newcomer Andrew Pelosi won unopposed, receiving 430 and 461 votes, respectively.
