Participating students will take part in an eight-session engineering experiment. They will explore various aspects of engineering such as how the structure of an object affects its function, how energy is changed and how to use digital tools for investigation and design. They will also present what they learn to younger students.

Participating children will be filmed, and the footage will be used in North Salem Publications. It will also serve as an example of the school’s STEM mission during district conference presentations.

The project is scheduled to culminate on March 27 and students must attend all sessions.
