SOMERS, N.Y. – Students who want to improve their college admission prospects can sign up for a two-day SAT Boot Camp this weekend at Somers High School.
The course is taught by instructors from Catalyst Prep who have all achieved perfect scores on the SATs. They will teach strategy, the ins and outs of math questions, the hows and how-not-tos of the essay question and the skill of maintaining focus under pressure.
The course is sponsored by Somers High School PTSA and runs from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, March 2, and Sunday, March 3. The fee, including materials, is $165. Spaces are limited. The deadline to enroll is Wednesday, Feb. 27, at 6 p.m.
