Somers High School Participates In Spirit Week Events

SOMERS, N.Y. -- School spirit is spreading among Somers High School students as they participate in Spirit Week events through Friday.

Students participated in 'Murica Monday when they wore red, white and blue to display their patriotism followed by Superhero Day in which students dressed up in their favorite superhero gear on Tuesday.

Spirit Week continues on Wednesday with Senior 70's Day, Thursday with Color Wars and Spirit Day with School Colors on Friday.

Color wars allows each grade level to wear a different color. Seniors will wear black, juniors will be in blue, sophomores will sport green and freshmen in pink.

The week wraps up with Somers' varsity football game against visiting Harrison at 7 p.m. on Friday.
