Somers School Board Incumbents Run Uncontested

SOMERS -- Two incumbent Somers school board members are the only ones running for their seats, according to Matthew Carr, the district's Director of Student Services and Human Resources

Somers Middle School will be the polling site for the May 20 school election.

Vice President Linda Graffitti and Trustee Harvey Kriedberg hold the two seats that are up for election this year. The school board has a total of seven seats.

The elections will be held on May 20 from 7 a.m.-9 p.m. The gymnasium at Somers Middle School at 250 Route 202 will serve as the district's polling place. The district's proposed 2014-15 budget will also be on the ballot.
