Unofficial numbers show 950 votes in favor of the budget and 302 against.
The budget, which is more than $85.5 million, includes a tax levy increase of 1.54 percent and a tax rate increase of 1.34 percent. The tax levy represents total tax revenue while the tax rate is the basis for what is owed. Total spending, meanwhile, will increase by 2.05 percent.
Meanwhile, a proposition to create a capital reserve fund of up to $5 million also passed, with votes showing 932 in favor and 259 against. The fund will help the school district pay for an array of projects, including field and track work, security measures, and roof replacement and repair.
Two incumbents, Harvey Kriedberg and Linda Graffitti, ran unopposed and won with 919 and 984 votes, respectively.
The results are machine votes, according to District Clerk Nancy Corrado.
