Somers Schools Release Bond Video Ahead of District Wide Vote

 SOMERS, N.Y. -- As voters of the Somers school district prepare to cast ballots on a proposed schools budget, the district has released a 4-minute video providing a rationale for a $13.6 million bond that is included in the proposal.

Voting is set for 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. on May 17 at Somers Middle School.

District leaders have said the bond will fund a number of improvements to the district's infrastructure.

The bond and the proposed 2016/2017 schools budget will be up for a vote on May 17 at Somers Middle School, 250 Route 202. The polls are open from 7 a.m.-9 p.m.
