SOMERS, N.Y. — When Somers residents go to the polls on May 15 to vote on the 2012-13 school budget, they will also be asked to fill two seats on the Board of Education.

Richard Wagner and Michael D’Anna are running for places on the board, along with incumbent Sarena Meyer, whose term expires this year. Voters will be asked to vote for two of the three. Trustees serve a three-year term.

Neither Wagner nor D’Anna has served a previous term on the board.

Board President Maureen Miller, whose term also expires this year, is not seeking re-election.

After the election, the board will meet to select new officers for the coming year. Officers serve a one-year term.
