Westchester High School Student Removed After Making Social Media Threat

A Port Chester High School student has been taken into custody after allegedly making a digial threat on social media.

Late on Monday afternoon, school and police officials were informed that a minor had posted a non-specific threat directed toward the high school, prompting to an investigation, which led to the student.

School officials said that the student was quickly identified and has been removed. The student - whose name will not be released due to his status as a minor - will face “consequences consistent with the District Code of Conduct and New York State SAVE legislation.”
