Longtime coach Diane Swertfager, entering her 31st year with the program and 28th with the varsity team, guided the Sailors to a Section 1 Class B championship last fall before the team lost in the regional finals.

The Sailors - with 13 sectional titles and three state crowns in their resume - will play in Class A this season.

Swertfager, a Katonah resident who has 529 career wins, has no intention of slowing down, and believes this year's team has the potential to get back to the top.
