Jarosz led the Red Foxes to a big week as the team went 3-0 in Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference play with wins against Manhattan, Iona, and Monmouth. Jarosz averaged a double-double, scoring 24 points per game on 60 percent shooting (27-for-45 overall) while pulling down 13.3 rebounds per game.

In Jarosz’s first game of the week against Manhattan she scored a career high 27 points and tied a career high in rebounds with 17 while also swatting a game high six shots as the Red Foxes took down the Jaspers, 79-73.

In the Red Foxes rematch with Iona, which had just defeated Marist a week prior, Jarosz led the Red Foxes with 24 points on 10-for-13 shooting to go along with 13 rebounds in a 62-61 win. It was her 12th double-double of the year and helped hand the Gaels their first MAAC loss of the season.

In the Red Foxes final game of the week, Jarosz led the way as the team avenged another loss from earlier in the season, this time against Monmouth. Jarosz notched her 13th double-double of the season, scoring 21 points on 7-for-16 shooting while grabbing 10 rebounds and blocking three shots in 31 minutes of action as Marist defeated Monmouth, 78-55.

To go along with her honor from the MAAC, Jarosz was also named College Sports Madness National Mid-Major and MAAC Women’s Basketball Player of the Week for her exceptional performance during the past week’s action.

Up next Jarosz and the Red Foxes play in game three of their five game home stand as the team hosts Niagara on Saturday, Jan. 23. Tip-off is set for 7 P.M.
