Matt Pupcyzk started for Yorktown and got the win, and Jack Kelly closed it out to earn the save, and added a two-run single in the third.

Yorktown assured itself of a home game in the opening round of the playoffs on Thursday, and senior southpaw and team captain Chris Henry (6-2) will get the start for Yorktown.

Takoda Sitar took the loss for Somers, which fell to 9-10 with one game left before playoffs.
