Somers High School Athletics Teams To Host Somersfest

SOMERS, N.Y. -- Somers High School will be hosting its Somersfest, a day of high school sports, for families to enjoy on Saturday, May 10.

Here's the schedule of events:

9 a.m.: Varsity Softball vs. Fox Lane High School, Freshman Boys Baseball vs. Mahopac High School

9:30 a.m.: Varsity Girls Lacrosse vs. Albertus Magnus, Turf #1, JV Girls Lacrosse vs. Albertus Magnus, Turf #2

11 a.m.: Varsity Tennis vs. North Salem High School at Reis Park

11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.: Varsity Baseball Clinic Turf #2

11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m: Girls/Boys Track at SHS

11:30 a.m.: JV Softball vs. Mahopac at Vantessel

Noon: JV Baseball vs. Irvington

3 p.m.: Varsity Baseball vs. Irvington, Freshman Boys Lacrosse vs. Mahopac Turf #1

5 p.m.: JV Boys Lacrosse vs. Lakeland, Turf #1

7 p.m.: Varsity Boys Lacrosse vs. Lakeland, Turf #1. The Somers Dance team will be performing at half time.

Support Somers High School's Clubs by visiting the following stands at the events:

- The Concession Stand run by the Student Council

- Somers Booster Club's buy-a-brick fund-raiser

- Somers Cheerleading raffle to support their journey to nationals

- Somers High School STAT Club's socks stand

In addition, donate lightly used sports equipment to the school. Or bring a non-perishable item, shampoo, or detergent to St. Luke's Pantry Donation.
